What was the highlight of The Naviti Resort
Perfect for families.
The pool is lovely and big enough for everyone. The beach near the village is clear and perfect for snorkeling. Staff are amazing. Beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms are a good size, if a little tired in patches. Grounds are immaculate.
The food was a bit ordinary. If you didn’t eat at the buffet the grill menu was on the bland side. We had one person with coeliac and they struggled a bit more. Cross contamination was a real concern especially at the buffet and with people using the gluten free toaster for regular toast every day. The recent changes to having kids eat separately and at a specific time make it tricky to eat as a family unless you want to eat early. It’s a resort that’s perfect for families but this also means that it’s often loud and with only one pool, it’s hard to escape the noise especially in the morning.

My room smelled like a dirty gym bag. Our room was not ready at time of check, I’m assuming they rushed cleaned our room in order for it to be ready for us, they must of used an old dirty mop with dirty old mop water. When we walked in our room we were hit with a very nasty smell, it was overwhelming and disgusting. The room itself was clean, everything was in order in the room it just stank something nasty!!! I ordered the all inclusive package but not all was inclusive. I ordered an alcoholic slushy drink at the pool bar for the wife but they told me I had to pay extra for the blue slushy. The liquor was included with my package but they wanted 10 damn dollars for the blue frozen water. I made a little stink and they let me have that one for free so that was ok. But they should include all drinks in an all inclusive package. I also couldn’t order a soda with my breakfast buffet!?!?!? They don’t start serving soda until 10:30am I was told. What kind of stupidness is that??? If a person that is paying lots of money is staying at a resort, please just give them a soda with their meal.
